Emirati intervention in Libya is not limited to military and logistical support, but rather has reached a direct presence, building rules for its forces hitting targets for the Libyan Al-Wefaq government, prompting observers to search for details of the Emirati military presence there.
According to a military source, Emirati aircraft bombed the military college in Tripoli on Saturday, killing at least 30 people and wounding more than 16 others, including civilians.
Observers believe that the establishment of the UAE military bases reflecting its occupation intention and strengthening its permanent influence in Libya, despite its claim to fight terrorism and address regional ambitions in Libya, especially after the Al-Wefaq government forces shot down more than one Emirati drone.
Three bases
and Libyan political analyst Issam Al-Zubair revealed to Al-Jazeera Net the places of the Emirati forces stationed in Libya, which are deployed in the east of the country at the base of the server in the region of Kharouba.
Al-Zubeir added that most of the Emirati forces are in the control and control rooms, and its role is limited to running drones and some strategic plans, and providing logistical support to the forces of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter, which lacks the capabilities and expertise.
Al-Zubayr confirmed that the UAE was previously trying to keep its military personnel secret, claiming that a number of its officers were killed in a collision, but the news of their death in the bombing of the Al-Jafra base revealed the truth of the UAE's military presence in Libya.
Al-Zubeir pointed out that the UAE's logistical support, such as the generators of planes, drones, equipment and armored vehicles, of the Russian type Tiger, reaches Haftar forces through the Saudi port of Jeddah, and that the armored vehicles appeared in several videos.
Al-Zubair affirmed that the Emirati role increased after the French fled after the "Gharyan liberation" operation, and that it was the UAE that brought the mercenaries of the Russian Wagner Company to fight alongside Haftar, in order to "serve its project and plunder and divide the country's wealth."
Strategic possibilities
The Al-Khadim Air Base is located about 170 kilometers east of Benghazi, and its area is approximately 15 square kilometers, and it includes a number of Russian, Emirati and French planes, and provides protection for Al-Rajma camp, the stronghold of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter, on the outskirts of Benghazi.
The base is located inside the Al-Kharrouba military airport, and the Sheebel drones are hit by the S 100 helicopter, whose missiles are fired with laser.
The Al-Jafra base, which is 600 km east of Tripoli, is one of the most important bases in Libya, as it represents a point of contact between the regions of eastern Libya, especially the city of Benghazi, and the fighting axes in the Libyan West.
Al-Qaeda was bombed by the Al-Wefaq government, which resulted in the destruction of a hangar of several countries, most notably the Emirates, and the deaths of its soldiers.
Although the report of the United Nations experts was explicitly condemned for the support of several countries for Haftar and their violation of the decision to ban arms supply to Libya, the UAE is still working on establishing military bases for it and financing the Haftar militias with military hardware and money.
The UAE is also continuing to send weapons and mechanisms to support the ongoing conflict in Libya, as demonstrated by satellite imagery during last September and October, published by Burkan Anger forces, showing the arrival of the Yushchen 76 plane and Black Hawk helicopter to the Al-Khadim airbase.
