The National Accord government refused to stop the military campaign until it extended its control over the Libyan cities and liberated the country from the "Wagner and Militia" Janjaweed militias that control the oil fields and ports and the cities of Sirte and Jafra.

Al-Wefaq government forces are preparing to attack again the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra and the areas of the Crescent Petroleum, after the arrival of military reinforcements to the Sirte Operations Room and Al-Jafra mandated by the Al-Wefaq government to extend control of the two cities.

On the other hand, retired Major General Khalifa Hifter continues to mobilize his forces towards the central region, where military vehicles and vehicles exited towards Sirte, in light of the arrival of new military support by land through Egypt, and by air through the Russian Wagner mercenaries.

Analysts and politicians believe that Haftar is trying to preserve the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra and rely on Egyptian, Emirati, Russian and Saudi support to save him from his recent losses, in light of assurances that he will be excluded from the scene after his catastrophic failure to lead the battle of control, and his forces will retreat to the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra in central Libya.

We are ready to
act and the spokesman for the Sirte Jafrah Operations Room, Brigadier General Abdul Hadi Dara, confirms that the necessary military and logistical support has arrived, pending the implementation of the instructions of the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Fayez al-Sarraj, to move to liberate the cities of Sirte and Jafra.

Derah adds in his interview with Al-Jazeera Net, "During the past 72 hours, more than 13 military transport aircraft arrived, 9 of which were landed at the Qaradabiya base in Sirte and the rest at the military base of Al-Jafra, carrying weapons, ammunition, and Syrian and Russian mercenaries."

Dirah believes that Haftar uses the same steps that ISIS took during its occupation of Sirte years ago, to hinder the progress of the Al-Wefaq government and threaten civilians, which is to mine the western and southern areas of Sirte in the Jarif region, in addition to mining and booby-trapping major roads and homes in several neighborhoods of Sirte.

Derah pointed out that the Al-Wefaq government will not back down from liberating any city or region that represents a threat to civil peace, and that there are foreign mercenaries, in addition to that the ceasefire depends on the extent to which the aggressor militias return to before April 4 of last year, and surrender.

Articulated operation
Strategic military expert Adel Abdel Kafi describes the liberation of Sirte and Al-Jafra as the articulated process for controlling oil ports and fields, especially after the collapse of the Haftar gangs, Russian mercenaries and the Janjaweed and the heavy losses they receive.

And Abdul Kafi continues his talk to Al-Jazeera Net, "Now there is a special operating room for Wagner mercenaries that does not receive instructions from Haftar, in addition to the arrival of new Russian weapons instead of used Emirati weapons, such as the modern Russian Pansir systems."

Abdel Kafi believes that the delay in issuing orders from the National Accord government to control Sirte and Jafra poses a threat to Libya's security and stability, especially with the continued flow of war support from mercenaries and weapons and the arrival of warplanes from Syria, including "MiG" and "Mi-35".

Abdul Kafi explains that Turkey, an ally of the Al-Wefaq government, has the potential to provide the required support for the Al-Wefaq forces to tighten control of the two cities, given that targeting through Turkish flying is easy in the open lands.

"The forces of the Al-Wefaq government may need to push a more developed Turkish system for longer distances to neutralize MiG-Mi and 35 aircraft, in addition to the importance of using advanced missiles to deal in open spaces," he added.

And Abdul Kafi notes that launching the liberation process of Sirte and Al-Jafra quickly and precisely after developing adequate plans has positive results, to prevent Haftar from being given more time to mobilize and new military support reaching him.

A strategically important point
The Libyan Army leader, Brigadier Al-Taher Al-Gharabli believes that the city of Al-Jufra is a military important strategic point for opening the forces of the Al-Wefaq government towards the south and east paths.

"The Haftar mercenaries considered the spot from Al Jufrah to Sirte important and should be preserved as possible, so now they stockpile weapons, ammunition, and anti-aircraft at the Al Jufra and Qardabiyah bases in Sirte to protect them from any attacks by Al-Wefaq forces," Al-Gharably says.

In his statement to Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Gharably considers that Russia wants its mercenaries to control the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra, as the first is located in northern Libya on the shores of the Mediterranean, opposite Europe, and the second is in central Libya.

Al-Gharabally believes that the stagnation of the Al-Wefaq government forces at this time, and the failure to push the forces towards completing the liberation of the south, central and eastern Libya, may return the fighting to the western Libyan regions.

And Al-Gharably calls the General Staff to form an operation room for the Libyan army to extend state authority over the entire Libyan soil, and to involve all forces present in the operations to liberate southern Libya, then the cities of Al-Jafra, Sirte, and the Crescent Petroleum at the same time.
