It is reported by the New York Post with reference to musicians.

The group’s legal team contacted Broadcast Music Incorporated, a U.S. copyright organization, to help stop the use of The Rolling Stones in Trump’s campaign.

"BMI notified the Trump campaign on behalf of the group that the unauthorized use of their songs would violate the license agreement," the team said.

They added that otherwise, a lawsuit will be filed against the American president.

As it is specified, earlier during Trump's performances the song The Rolling Stones “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” was used.

In October 2018, the family of singer Prince demanded to stop performing the song Purple Rain at Donald Trump rallies and political events.
