- During the first round, the outgoing mayor of the Pink City, Jean-Luc Moudenc (LR supported by LREM) turned in the lead. But more than three months later, his opponent, the ecologist Antoine Maurice, who succeeded not without difficulty in the union of the left, remains the favorite of the polls.
- While in the first round, abstention reached the record level of 63.34%, each side tried to mobilize the undecided to tip the result which promises to be very very tight.
- In Midi-Pyrenees, other hot spots are to be followed for this second round, the eyes are in particular turned towards Moissac, commune of Tarn-et-Garonne anchored on the left where the National Gathering has all its chances to delight the town hall.
