The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, described his country's relations with Turkey as "developed in all fields."

In his meeting with the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum with the Turkish ambassador Irfan Naziroglu, Al-Burhan praised the developed bilateral relations between Sudan and Turkey in all fields, and the continuous efforts of the two countries "to serve the interests of their two friendly peoples."

And a statement issued on Sunday from the media of the sovereignty council quoted Ambassador Naziroglu as saying that the meeting with Al-Burhan dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries in the political, economic, cultural and social fields.

He also pointed out that the meeting touched on the medical assistance provided by the Turkish Red Crescent recently, to enhance the efforts of the Government of Sudan to address the Corona pandemic, revealing in the same context of Turkey's intention to provide other significant aid to Khartoum in the near future.

According to the statement, Naziroglu pledged that Turkey would transfer its expertise to Sudan in various fields, in a manner that strengthens and develops the relations of the two countries at all levels.
