The US diplomatic mission indicated that the United States will work closely with the Ukrainian government "to ensure the rapid and effective use of these funds."
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who flew into the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which was affected by the floods, said that he was struck by the scale of the rampant disaster.
