• Events Investigate two subway guards for throwing a user with his back up the stairs

Renfe has opened a file with two security guards after a video was released on social networks in which they are seen forcibly reducing a passenger, who is handcuffed and beaten inside a wagon.

According have confirmed to Efe sources of Renfe, events have taken place this morning in a train station Les Franqueses of the Vallès (Barcelona).

In the video, which is recorded by the traveler's couple, it is seen how the two guards lay the man face down on some seats, handcuff him and try to immobilize him by force.

The passenger, who at the time of the events is wearing a handkerchief tied around his neck, but not a mask, complains that he is being drowned and exclaims on several occasions: "What the hell are you doing? Do you think this is appropriate?" To which one of the guards responds: "Shut your mouth" and covers it with his hand.

When the passenger's partner asks them what they do and they realize that the woman is recording with the mobile, they ask him to stop doing it and try to remove it.

Renfe sources have regretted the events and have assured that the security guards have been immediately removed from their jobs pending the resolution of the file that has been opened.

"From Renfe we will not tolerate attitudes of this type that stain the work that many workers are carrying out in our services in Catalonia," said a spokesman for the railway company, who recalled that it invests 15 million euros per year to complement the work to be carried out by those responsible for citizen security, be they Mossos, local police or the National Police.

A Twitter user has explained on the social network, where he has posted the video, that the one he records is his daughter and that the passenger is his son-in-law, whom "two hired thugs" attack "for not wearing the mask they wanted "

"As you can see, my son-in-law does not resist, and still they abuse his power, by hitting my son-in-law once he is handcuffed," explains the man.

The video has echoed the deputy of Podemos Alberto Rodríguez, who has denounced the assault on this citizen for not wearing a mask, despite the fact that the security guards also appear without it in the images.

Those affected have reported the events at the Granollers police station (Barcelona) along with the traveler's injury report, as explained by his father-in-law.
