A New York judge refused Thursday to ban the publication of a book by Donald Trump's niece describing him as "the most dangerous man in the world", but "sheds light on the grim history" of the American president's family, the publishing house said.

Mary Trump's book is scheduled to be released at the end of July, just 3 months before her uncle ran for a second term.

This week, President Trump's brother Robert Trump asked a court in Queens, New York, to ban the publication of "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Made the Most Dangerous Man in the World."

But the judge said that "his court does not have jurisdiction to issue a court order prohibiting the publication of the book."

Robert Trump accused Mary of violating a secret agreement she signed in 2001, after the same court settled a property ownership dispute for Fred Trump, Donald's father, Robert, and Fred's son, Mary's father, who died in 1981.

"Mary's attempt to distort family relations after all these years to reap financial profits is both a farce and an injustice to the memory of our dear parents," said Robert.

He added in an official statement that he and the rest of the family members are very proud of "their wonderful brother the president, and that Marie's actions are a real shame."

On the other hand, Mary Trump's lawyer, Ted Peter, expressed in a statement his hope that this decision will be the end of this case, saying that "democracy thrives on the free exchange of ideas, neither this court nor any other court has the authority to violate the American constitution."

In her 240-page book, Mary, 55, recounts the mysteries of the "poisoned family" as she witnessed in her grandparents' home, according to publisher Simon and Schuster.

The publisher said Mary describes in the book "devastating shocks and relationships and a tragic mixture of neglect and abuse."

He added that Mary Trump, the psychiatrist, is "the only one from the Trump family ready to tell the truth about one of the most powerful and troubled families in the world."

The description published online on the book says that the author explains how certain events and general family patterns created the "destroyed" man who currently occupies the Oval Office, including the strange and harmful relationship between "Fred Trump the Father" and his two older sons, "Fred Trump Jr. and Donald ".

The Daily Beast reported earlier this month that the book would reveal that Mary Trump was the source of reports published by The New York Times about President Trump's finances and paid him little tax due for decades.

Unlike Mary's book, the US president faces a number of books issued by his close associates and former members of his administration, criticizing the way he runs the country.

A few days ago, a US federal judge refused to prevent the publication of the book of former National Security Adviser John Bolton, rejecting a petition submitted by the American administration, while President Trump Bolton vowed to pay a heavy price for publishing the book without approval.

In excerpts published by the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The New York Times, Bolton accused President Trump of making serious mistakes, including that he had explicitly asked Chinese President Xi Jinping for his help in winning the election for a second term.

Trump set out to respond to the accusations, writing on Twitter that what was included in his previous adviser’s book “is a collection of false stories and fake stories all aimed at discrediting my reputation.

The American President saw that Bolton was seeking to settle his account with him because he removed him from office.

In contrast, the former White House counselor said he did not see Trump "fit to take over" and added that he did not have "the competence to do so, as he really had no guideline that I could grasp except what was beneficial to Donald Trump's re-election."

"I think he was so focused on re-election that he failed in long-term achievements."
