Microsoft reviews its retail strategy and announces that it will close its physical stores, the Microsoft Stores.

Closing the Microsoft Stores will result in pre-tax charges of approximately $ 450 million, or $ 0.05 per share, in the quarter ending June 30, 2020. On Wall Street, the stock loses 1.96% a $ 196.41.

"Our sales have grown online with our product portfolio evolving towards a digital offering. We are grateful to our customers from the Microsoft Stores and will continue to serve them online," says Microsoft.
