Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp, just crowned with the title of champion of England, the first for 30 years for the Reds, has promised that his team will end the season with the same determination.

"The consistency that the boys showed is so exceptional, we will not stop there," promised the German tactician during a videoconference the day after the coronation.

"We really have to stay focused and we will stay focused. When I say we won't stop, that doesn't mean we're going to win everything, but that we still want to improve," he said.

Thanks to the defeat on Thursday of Manchester City, its runner-up at Chelsea (2-1), Liverpool became the earliest champion in the history of English football with 23 points ahead 7 days before the end.

The Reds, who have already broken several records during the season, still have a few in sight, such as the most points scored in a season, 100 by City in 2017/2018.

With only 2 defeats in the last 70 league days and already 97 points registered last season, while City had pocketed 98, the record seems in their strings.

"This regularity comes from a mixture of determination, adherence to ideas, character, attitude and personality that permeates this special group"

"They are always humble. And as long as we remain humble, we will have a good chance of having other successes in the future," he continued.
