The accident occurred at half-past seven in height with Granlunda, about two miles northwest of Uppsala.
When police and emergency services arrived at the scene, there was only one passenger in the car. The person was injured and must have been taken to hospital.
- But we have not found the driver yet. The patrols work out there on the spot, says Maria Rupla, commander of the police regional command center.
The road has not had to be blocked off.
