According to the Izvestia newspaper, citing the press service of the department, if the seller ignores or does not satisfy the buyer's requirements, the latter can file a lawsuit. 

“In the lawsuit, in addition to claims for the recovery of funds paid for the goods and compensation for losses, you have the right to demand the recovery of a penalty from the seller in the amount of 1% of the price of the goods for each day of delay in satisfying claims for the return of money in the amount calculated on the day the decision is made court, as well as compensation for non-pecuniary damage, ”the press service said.

It is noted that in case of refusal of the seller to satisfy the claim, a fine will follow, which is 50% of the amount assigned by the court.

In addition, the buyer can apply to Rospotrebnadzor with the aim of imposing a fine on the seller.
