At about 10 pm on Wednesday evening, the police received a phone call that a naked and visibly affected man had left a bathing place in Odensala by car. A police patrol was called to the scene and when they arrived they found the man driving in the ditch a distance from the bathing area.
The driver, a man aged 35, was taken care of and taken to the hospital in Östersund. After sampling, interrogation and the preparation of a police report, the man was released.
To prevent the man from engaging in further driving, the police handed over his car keys and driver's license.
