Liverpool star Egyptian Mohamed Salah feels one step closer to achieving the goal he set for himself, as Juergen Klopp's team approaches the crowning Premier League title.

Liverpool needed two points to officially crown the title, following its comfortable victory over Crystal Palace yesterday with a clean four.

Liverpool's coronation could be announced officially on Thursday evening if Manchester City fails to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

When asked about how he feels in the current situation, Salah said, "I feel comfortable", in a statement to Sky Sports.

The Egyptian pharaoh added, "Since I came, I said that I want to win the title of the Premier League with the team. The city did not win the title in a long time, the time has come."

"We may have had the opportunity to crown last year but Manchester City did a great performance and culminated in it. It is our time, this is great."

Salah scored a goal from the clean quad, and Trent Alexander Arnold, Fabienho and Sadio Mane added the rest.

These goals helped Liverpool move away to the top of the standings, 25 points behind its nearest stalkers, with seven matches remaining at the end of the league.

"We only need two points to win the league title," the Egyptian international said. "We did a great performance and all the players were amazing."

"I am happy with the result and I look forward to the next two games. I think all players have motivation, everyone is motivated in their own way to win the league title," he concluded.
