Social media activists shared a video of US Vice President Mike Pence's crash as he boarded the plane on Tuesday for Wisconsin, sparking sarcastic reactions.

Pence, 61, climbed up the ladder of the plane in a scene suggesting lightness, agility and young age, but he was surprised that he fell on the end of the ladder before reaching the door of the plane, and he used his hands and got up quickly, then he waved to those standing under the plane that he was safe.

One of them commented, "Everyone is at risk of falling on the ladder, up or down, sooner or later, I am glad that he was unharmed."

Author and political commentator Tony Schwartz also commented, "My interpretation of Pence's stumbling as he ascends the ladder to the plane unconsciously that he did not want to be seen as more youthful or coordinated than Trump, this is flattering from a whole new level."

As for political analyst Palmer Report, he said, "Anyone may think that Trump has told Pence to fall on the stairs in such a way, to get rid of the scene of Trump's inability to walk down the slope."
