The appearance of a picture of former al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in the Leeds United stadium stadiums has sparked widespread controversy on social media.
Pictures circulated by British media and singers showed an image of bin Laden on one of the seats on the clubhouse, "Island Road".
Commenting on the matter, Leeds United said it would make sure "there are no more offensive images" and confirmed that it removed the image of the former al Qaeda leader from the stadium's stands immediately.

The fans have not yet been allowed to attend the remaining matches of the season due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and several clubs have invited fans to send pictures of themselves or their loved ones to put on the empty seats.
British newspapers said that one of the fans paid 25 pounds (about 27 euros) in exchange for a photograph of bin Laden being placed on an empty seat.
Leeds is second in the Premier League championship with 71 points, and Fulham will host third place next Saturday.
