Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Poutine will meet Friday afternoon by videoconference to take stock of the "strategic dialogue" engaged between France and Russia, as well as on the crises in progress, like in Libya or Syria, announced Wednesday the Elysee.

The French and Russian presidents "wished this time for in-depth discussion to take stock of the strategic balances that stand the test of the pandemic" of coronavirus and "to address the main crises on the agenda of the Security Council", clarified the presidency.
