Earlier, Shmygal flew to the Ivano-Frankivsk region in connection with the floods that occurred in the region.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky demanded that the government “once and for all” solve the flood problem.
Due to bad weather in the western regions of Ukraine, 187 settlements were flooded. In Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions, three people were killed.
