“According to the information of the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, June 23, 2020, 72 forest fires on an area of 1,441 ha have been eliminated in Russia,” RIA Novosti reports.
It is specified that by 00:00 on June 24, 129 forest fires were operating in Russia on an area of 35,810 ha, which were actively extinguished.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies recorded an increase in the number of foci of forest fires in Russia.
