An 18-year-old young Lyonnais man was arrested Monday afternoon after threatening to kill his father. Furious that the latter refuses to lend him his car, the suspect then seized two knives with rounded ends. Two knives which he placed on each side of his neck, indicates the Sûreté du Rhône.

The son then dropped his weapons before breaking a door to the apartment. Twenty minutes later, the young man repeats. But this time, with an iron bar. Hidden on the stairs of the building, he waited until his father came out to hit him on the arm, said the Lyon police again.

The victim filed a complaint against his son for threats, insults, degradations and violence. The suspect, who has 9 criminal records, was presented to the prosecution on Tuesday. He was released and summoned to trial for trial at a later date.
