For more than a year, the Moroccan state has been listening to journalist and human rights activist Omar Radi with one of the world's most sophisticated surveillance programs. According to Amnesty International, who examined his phone, it was a unique trojan that attacks through the mobile network without being noticed.

But after SVT and the journalist network Forbidden stories published, the story has taken another turn. Omar Radi is now suspected of espionage himself.

"I am not afraid"

The French investigative journalist and also director of Forbidden stories Laurent Richard, have been in contact with Omar Radi. Radi sees a clear connection with this week's publications and the allegations now being directed at him. But despite the serious situation, he does not intend to be silenced.

- I am not afraid. I will continue to hold my head high. My goal is to continue to reveal injustices and show true Morocco through my journalism, says Omar Radi.

SVT is looking for the Moroccan ambassador in Stockholm.
