Musumeci: "We were right"
"Twenty-eight positive migrants are on the ship at anchor in Porto Empedocle, a solution that we stubbornly demanded from the central government on 12 April to prevent outbreaks from developing on the territory of the island, without being able to limit and control them". The president of the Sicily Region Nello Musumeci said in a post on Facebook commenting on the outcome of the swabs carried out on people on board the quarantine ship Moby Zazà.

"Today we understand better - adds Musumeci - that our request. And whoever raved accusing us almost of racism, today will realize that we were right. In the next few hours important sanitary measures will have to be adopted at the precautionary principle. I want to hope that nobody comes in mind not to involve the Region in the choices to be made ".
