The collapse of a cantilevered concrete and brick structure in Albizzate, in the province of Varese, resulted in the death of two children and their mother. The building is a former industrial warehouse recently converted to commercial use and the structure was anchored to the facade at the height of the roof. His 5-year-old son Soulaymane Hannach was riding his bike when he was swept away by debris. Sister Yaoucut, just 15 months old, died in the hospital. Both children were born in Gallarate.
