“Today, on June 23, when checking the special detention center No. 2 for persons serving an administrative arrest, it turned out that on June 19, Igor Ishaev was hospitalized in one of the city hospitals,” Melnikov said, adding that Ishaev’s diagnosis was not disclosed.
The human rights activist added with reference to the administration of the special detention center that after treatment Ishaev should return to the institution to serve his sentence.
Earlier, the Presnensky court arrested Igor Ishaev for 12 days for drunk driving (part 3 of article 12.8 of the Administrative Code of Russia). He was placed in a special detention center on the evening of June 18.
