Since E18 was pulled in 2008, the vehicles that need to clear goods at the Norwegian border in Hån have had to make a detour on the old highway. Among other things, this has resulted in several people not finding out. In addition, the old premises were worn and poorly updated with the latest technology.
Now that has changed. In the new control hall of the spray, the goods can be x-rayed, the underside of the vehicles can be examined more closely thanks to a lift and the bus passengers can get off waiting for the dogs to search between the seats.
- With the conditions we now have, I think it makes it easier for us to catch smugglers, says Group Manager Roger Nilsson.
