It was in July 2019 that the 70-year-old man was reported missing, ten days later his body was found in the woods outside Markaryd by an orienteering.
Two men were wanted internationally and eventually arrested and taken to Sweden where they were arrested on suspicion of murder.
It has been more than a month since the trial was initiated in Växjö District Court. Preliminary investigations were extensive, more than 200 interrogations were conducted and approximately 80 persons worked on the investigation.
But now the trial is at the final plea that the prosecutor and the attorneys will hold on Tuesday.
