Authorities in Germany are concerned after a major outbreak of coronavirus contamination has occurred in a slaughterhouse in the west of the country.

Germany announced Tuesday a second reconfiguration in a canton of more than 200,000 inhabitants in the west of the country, linked to the coronavirus after the appearance of a major outbreak of contamination in a slaughterhouse.

The regional authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia had already announced earlier a partial restructuring in the neighboring canton of Gütersloh where 360,000 people live and where more than 1,500 employees of a slaughterhouse have been infected with the virus.
