The story of an American couple who donated the same organ to the same patient echoes the hearts of people.

Foreign media, such as CNN in the US, on the 21st of local time, introduced the story of Terry Herrington, who also donated the kidneys to a patient who had been transplanted with her husband's organ 16 years ago.
Terry's husband, Bryan, fell in a building when he was working on a roof in 2004 and was in a deadly state. Brian, who had previously told him about organ donation, passed away after giving a new life to four patients, and Jeff Granger donated the kidneys and pancreas.

One month after her husband died, Terry received a letter. It was Mr. Granger's appreciation that his life has changed completely thanks to organ donation. Terry, sad after losing her husband, was comforted by the realization of the good influence her husband had left the world. Then he courageously replied to Mr. Granger with his contact information, and the two of them have since been contacted and become best friends.
Grainer, who came to the hospital in early 2019, 15 years later, was deteriorated in health, and he received bad news. The kidney donated by Mr. Brian was losing function. Mr. Granger told his friend Terry that he had to get an organ transplant again to survive.

Then Terry replied that he would donate the kidneys without hesitation. Mr. Granger didn't believe this answer and posted a post on SNS about finding a kidney donor, but Terry once again remarked in this post with the comments "I thought I was kidding? I'm as serious as my kidneys!"
Eventually, after being diagnosed with a hospital as an organ donor, Mr. Terry really transplanted his kidneys to Mr. Granger in March of this year. "It's the first time I see a couple donating organs to the same patient," said Mark Johnson, a doctor who successfully performed the surgery. "With Terry's kidney, Mr. Granger can live 10 to 14 more years."

Terry said, "I felt closer to my husband than ever before. We're like having a reunion for a while." "The gratitude and solidarity I feel for Terry is unimaginable. I don't know how to repay the grace that gave us life," Mr. Granger said.
