On Monday, a rain area will pull in over Kalmar County and Kronoberg County. They come in from the west and continue east.
- There may also be some showers during the afternoon and evening and there may be thunderstorms during the evening, says Josefine Bergstedt, meteorologist at SVT.
In Kronoberg County it can rain 10-15 millimeters and in Kalmar county it can rain up to 20 millimeters until midnight.
Very thunderstorm this weekend
This weekend, thunderstorms set fire to it in the areas around Ljungbyholm. The lightning struck in two different places.
- It broke down in a barn. Neighbors detected the smoke and saw it burning. They fetched a hand fire extinguisher and when we arrived at the scene they had extinguished the fire, says Christer Holmström, rescue manager in readiness.
The lightning also crashed into a storage room and went through the line to a holiday home and turned off the power completely. But it didn't start to burn.
Got the power back
During Saturday, around 1200 Eon customers became powerless in Kronoberg, in the evening most people had the power back and on Sunday everyone had the power back.
Shortly after lunch on Sunday afternoon, the rescue service got off to the sawmill in Vislanda in the municipality of Alvesta. Wells had been put in there again, and water was entering one of the buildings and rising to 15 centimeters.
- We went there with pumps and they were running for a couple of hours to get all the water out, says Fredrik Bengtsson.
