Defense Minister Chung Kyung-doo said North Korea's bombing of the Gaesung Industrial Complex's inter-Korean joint office on the 22nd is "a matter not related to the September 19 military agreement."

At the general meeting of the National Assembly's National Defense Committee, Chung said, "The contents of the September 19th military agreement were a matter of taking various measures to prevent direct and accidental military clashes."

When asked if the detonation did not break the military agreement, Minister Jung said "so far."

When he announced the possibility of North Korea launching an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) foreshadowing a military provocation against South Korea, Chung said, "There is no such indication right now."

Regarding the submarine launch ballistic missile (SLBM) launch submarine launch movement, he said, "We are still confirming that there is continuous movement."

"We are all confirming that North Korea is engaged in various military activities including ICBM and SLBM," he said. "It is difficult to say what the probability of a (missile launch) is a few percent."
