After the failed union of the left under the leadership of the Nice Ecologique list for the second round, Patrick Allemand and Xavier Garcia call on Monday their voters "to cast a blank ballot" Sunday in the French Riviera capital.
The candidate of Nice at the heart (6.57% in the first round) and the first federal secretary of PS 06 believe that "the Nice Ecological list is not worthy of being the head of the fifth city of France, nor even to represent a credible and responsible opposition to Christian Estrosi ”. The outgoing mayor is on a very favorable waiver (47.62%) before the second round, far ahead of RN Philippe Vardon (16.69%) and therefore the ecological Nice candidate Jean-Marc Governatori (11.3%), with who a union has failed.
A disagreement in the green list
The head of the green list was however in favor of a merger with the two other lists on the left. "Mireille Damiano [ViVa!, 8.9%] could have been second and Patrick Allemand [Nice at heart] third," he explained last week at 20 Minutes . But among my running mate there was no favorable vote. "
"We had reached a minimal agreement ensuring the representation of the three lists on the municipal council, but the following day, a dozen EELV militants rejected everything in block and thus blocked the representation of 15.42% of the voters", confirm Patrick Allemand and Xavier Garcia.
Communist Robert Injey, second on the ViVa! List, also called for "white voting". "On economic and social issues Christian Estrosi and Jean-Marc Governatori it's a white hat, white hat," he says.
