As for the older New Yorkers, they rushed to the hairdresser. Benoit Peyrouse has just reopened the doors of his living room in Brooklyn, equipped with his mask and his protective visor. "It's extraordinary, today is really a fun day," he says. "Three months without work, without being able to make a turnover is very complicated, especially in New York by paying rents. People watched every day when we were going to reopen and as soon as we sent an email and posted it on Instagram, thirty minutes later we were full for two weeks! "

Good humor and relief take precedence, despite the persistent ban on dealing with beards. This would require removing the mask. Restaurants can again be served, only on the terrace or to take away. As for the Manhattan buildings, the offices are once again accessible to employees.
