“We have reached agreements on the deployment of a unique aircraft on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, which was created specifically to increase the amount of precipitation,” RIA Novosti quoted Aksyonov as saying.
According to him, the potential use of such an aircraft will allow "to increase the amount of precipitation from already formed clouds by 30%," without causing any harm to the environment.
As expected, the aircraft will be based in Simferopol.
Earlier in the Crimea discovered large reserves of underground fresh water.
