The players of Paris SG, still engaged in the Champions League and qualified for the finals of the national cups, will resume training Thursday "in small groups", after three days of tests, announced Sunday the club champion of France.

"The players will have the right to medical and physical tests from Monday to Wednesday, before being able to tread the lawns of the Ooredoo Center again on Thursday, in small groups, for a gradual resumption of physical activity," said PSG on its website.

The club led by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi also confirms the dates chosen for its national deadlines, the officialization of which is expected next week.

"Engaged in the two national cup finals, the club of the capital will face Saint-Etienne and Lyon on July 24 and 31, respectively in the final of the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue," it is written.

These two meetings will mark the return to the lawns of PSG, stopped like all French clubs since the interruption of competitions in March because of the epidemic of new coronavirus.

The club of Kylian Mbappé and Neymar must play the quarter-finals of the Champions League between 12 and 15 August in Lisbon, the city chosen by UEFA to host a final tournament in new format.

According to Marca, the top scorer in the history of PSG Edinson Cavani will not be on the trip. The Uruguayan striker, at the end of the contract on June 30, will not extend his lease for two months to end the season, according to the Spanish daily.
