“The power engineers of the production unit of the Srednekolymsky Distribution Zone branch of Sakhaenergo JSC completed the transfer of fuel from the tank of a diesel power station in the village of Argakhty, the Srednekolymsky ulus of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), from which about 4 tons of fuel leaked today,” the company noted.

It is clarified that at the moment on the site of the emergency, soil remediation is being organized. In the morning it is expected that the Ministry of Emergencies will deliver a sorbent for cultivating the soil around the tank. 

Earlier it was reported that at a diesel power station in the village of Argakhtakh in Yakutia, fuel leaked from the tank. Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations called the volume of spilled fuel.
