So the man, a 46 year old from Melito di Napoli with a history of fraud, was sued for fraud and serious personal injury with his partner and another woman.

It turned out, in fact, that the three had agreed to defraud the insurance by simulating a fake accident, the intention was not to provoke such serious offenses to the man, who had activated an accident insurance policy.

The investigations of the carabinieri of the Maddaloni company started when the 46-year-old arrived at the San Michele clinic in Maddaloni. "I had an accident," he said, introducing himself as a worker, but without indicating where he worked. Then he was taken to the Caserta hospital to be operated on. Here came the companion and another woman, who were unable to explain how they had known about the injury, nor to give indications on the man's work.
