The corresponding regime was introduced in May due to firing by the Armed Forces, and after stabilization of the situation at the contact line, it was reduced.
“After I announced the full combat readiness of the units ... the shelling of our territory by the Ukrainian armed forces ceased, and the silence regime was maintained for almost two weeks. After lowering the combat readiness of the People’s Militia units, Ukraine resumed shelling of our settlements, ”he said.
According to Pasechnik, this clearly indicates that, if desired, Kiev fulfills "its obligations to maintain a comprehensive ceasefire."
“Vladimir Alexandrovich, now we both know that you are able to stop shelling, to prevent the death of ordinary people ... I urge you to demonstrate in practice that you can keep the promise on the eve of the great general holiday - Victory Day,” he noted head of the republic.
