For several years, Paris has been the scene of numerous demonstrations (five had moreover been authorized by the prefecture this Saturday), several of which have been punctuated by clashes between demonstrators and the police, as during rallies of "vests yellow ", or Tuesday during the caregivers' demonstration, Tuesday. Asked about Europe 1 about her management of demonstrations if she was elected mayor of the capital, candidate LR Rachida Dati castigated Anne Hidalgo's record on the matter and estimated that "Paris has become the victim of all demonstrations and all violence".
"I am concerned about protecting businesses"
"If I am elected mayor of Paris, I receive organizations that want demonstrations. Ms. Hidalgo has never received these organizations," said the mayor of the 7th arrondissement. During the crisis of "yellow vests", I received organizations from their representatives, because I have the concern to protect the businesses, the inhabitants ".

When you receive the organizers, "you make them responsible on the routes, on safety, and you make them aware of the businesses and the economic activity that can be impacted," added Rachid Dati.
