According to the president, he signed a decree on the establishment of state awards for outstanding workers for health workers - the Order of Pirogov and the Luka Krymsky medal.
“In the very near future, these high awards will mark the most worthy doctors, scientists, paramedics, middle and junior medical personnel who distinguished themselves in the fight against coronavirus,” he said.
The head of state emphasized that from the very first days of the pandemic, doctors were "at the forefront and constantly risked their health."
