The Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Matar Mohammed Al Tayer, announced the completion of the bus shelters station in the Al Quoz area, which is the latest bus shelters serving the daily bus traffic, and thus joins the bus shelters in the areas of Jebel Ali, Al Khawaneej, Al Rawiyah, Al Awir and Al Qusais. The new station serves 24 daily bus traffic lines, covering a number of vital areas in the Emirate of Dubai.

This came during his inspection of the station, to determine its readiness for operation, as employees, engineers, technicians and drivers started their work in the various locations of the station.

Al Tayer listened to an explanation about the components of the station, which includes an apartment building for drivers with a capacity for 368 people, a food court, a medical clinic, a lounge and a yard, a gym, and an integrated maintenance workshop that includes 18 lane for electrical and mechanical maintenance, air conditioning, oil change, and tires. The station also includes a bus wash area , And parking capacity for 273 buses.
