A brigade in the Tibet Military Region used complex meteorological conditions to improve the ability of officers and soldiers to win the plateau

The rain and snow will be carried out as usual

Our correspondent Yan Liang and correspondent Pei Bin reported: Raining seven days a week, the training does not stop. Since mid-June, a brigade in the Tibet Military Region has experienced continuous rain and snow. The party committee of the brigade seized the "good opportunity" and used complex meteorological conditions to organize combat readiness training. All members were fully equipped for rain and snow baptism and actual combat tests.

At an altitude of more than 4,600 meters above sea level, the high-altitude military training ground, entangled with rain and snow and hail, brought challenges to the training of officers and men. The party committee of the brigade met the difficulties and turned the ups and downs on the training ground into "catalysts" for the generation of combat power. The difficult and difficult subjects were not dropped, and the actual combat training was truly "realized".

The reporter saw at the shooting range that the security department gave up the target paper that was easily destroyed by moisture and used a can box to indicate the target, forcing the gunner to rain and train to improve the accuracy of the shooting; the gust of wind stormed the artillery position, and the gunners were working in the wind and rain Quickly catch the target; the rainstorm poured through the sand field, and the female communication soldier's hand was double-tracked, bent over the trench, and passed through the barrier area... Although the training was hard, the officers and soldiers said that the fighting skills were tempered.

Prepare for war full time and practice "walking, hitting, eating, living, hiding". The security department studies the dietary laws of plateau cold regions, and accurately distributes meals according to the weather, training intensity, and physical needs of the day, to ensure that officers and soldiers maintain physical fitness and are in a healthy state in combat readiness training.

The leader of the brigade said that continuous rain and snow training continued to improve the ability of officers and men to win. In the next step, they will be transferred to an unfamiliar area at higher altitudes to train, increase the intensity of combat readiness training under low-temperature and hypoxic conditions, and continuously improve the combat effectiveness of the troops.
