It is noted that strengthening measures will be undertaken in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Alma-Ata, Karaganda, Shymkent, Pavlodar and Ekibastuz.
It is also reported that the authorities took this step in connection with the worsening epidemiological situation.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to the first head of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in which he supported him in connection with the coronavirus.
