On June 17, local time, the troops participating in the Russian parade rehearsal arrived at the famous Tverskaya Street in Moscow, waiting for the first night rehearsal. Russian officers and men who participated in the rehearsal wore masks and gloves.

  According to reports, Peskov said, "The Ministry of National Defense has taken all necessary epidemic prevention and safety measures for the preparation, organization and implementation of the military parade."

  Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that, considering the new crown epidemic, he decided to postpone the military parade for the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War. On May 9th, air parade events were held throughout Russia and festival fireworks were set off. At the end of May, Putin announced that the Victory Day parade would be held on June 24.
