The Black Lives Matters movement continues worldwide and in France where many events are planned for this Saturday, June 20. The rallies against racism and police violence have been very well attended in the past few weeks. This Saturday, demonstrations will take place in many cities to demand the regularization of undocumented migrants, or to pay tribute to Georges Floyd.

The Paris police prefecture has sorted out the demonstrations planned for this Saturday. The gathering at the call of several collectives in favor of the regularization of undocumented migrants will be authorized in the capital. The Parisian procession which will set off at 2 p.m. from Place de la Nation will go as far as Stalingrad.

Another rally will take place with the agreement of the authorities, that planned for Place de la République in homage to Lamine Dieng . However, a rally at the call of the Chechen community this Saturday afternoon was prohibited after violent clashes this week between members of this community and the inhabitants of a district of Dijon.

Another prohibited rally, the one planned near the US Embassy at the appeal of the African Black Defense League in memory of Georges Floyd . Undeclared, the authorities have judged that this demonstration was likely to generate disturbances to public order.
