The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi announced the opening of registration for the second batch of students in 13 government-funded schools, run by private companies, to teach the American curriculum for students free of charge (partnership schools).

The department bears the operational cost for the operators involved in managing this type of school, to provide new educational options in the emirate, by exchanging experiences between the government and private sectors, and achieving the optimal use of available resources.

In detail, the department said that educational partnership schools aim to create a sustainable educational model and create a competitive educational environment in which the partnerships of educational partnership schools provide the best education services, to provide a stimulating environment and innovative practices that benefit the student during his study trip.

Students in these schools have experiences based on creative thinking, leadership and innovation skills, which work to sharpen their skills, and make them highly qualified, and able to face future career challenges at the global level.

The department identified four categories for students eligible to enroll in educational partnerships schools, which include students who are citizens of the United Arab Emirates, children of female citizens, and decrees issued by His Highness the President of the State and his deputy to obtain state citizenship, in addition to students citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (to register in the first grade And above).

And the department stated that registering a student requires fulfilling five conditions, namely housing in the geographical range of the school accredited by the department, and that the student has completed the age set for admission, applying for registration on the specified dates, and submitting registration documents, in addition to fulfilling any other requirements issued by the department, noting Until registration is available from kindergarten through fifth grade, according to the age of admission for each grade.

The department indicated that partnership schools are run by three educational companies, "Al-Dar for Education", "" Bloom for Education ", and" "Education Company", which were chosen after the tender and tendering were presented, and following precise procedures.

The companies were chosen based on their ability to implement educational best practices, along with a set of other criteria, which were identified in the bidding and evaluation stage that preceded the final selection.

Statistics issued by the Department of Education and Knowledge stated that the first phase of the government-funded schools project provided 17,000 school seats, all of which were for kindergarten and the first cycle.

The opening of the higher school classes will follow, according to the progress of the educational students from one class to another, which serves the fundamental goals of the education system in the emirate and creates a third educational system, which has been successfully applied in other countries.

The department emphasized that the project is one of the initiatives of the "Tomorrow 21" program, which aims to place the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the first centers on the list of "best cities to live globally", stressing that the positive benefits resulting from this partnership will reach the various groups in the educational system of students, or their relatives. , Or teachers or administrators, noting that the educational cadres will be able to benefit from the training programs and practical workshops that will accompany the project, in addition to the initiatives that will be launched in order to develop their educational skills, which opens new horizons in their career.
