The results show that the foundation of social public opinion for the continued high-level development of China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation in the new era is still solid.

  This poll mainly concerns people’s cognition of each other, factors affecting the future development of Sino-Russian relations, understanding of the two countries’ anti-epidemic measures, cognition and effectiveness evaluation of Sino-Russian cooperation in anti-epidemic, and Western countries’ Responses and evaluations of labeling and stigmatization, prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and their impact on bilateral relations.

  The survey results show that the people of the two countries have given each other a high rating. Most Russian respondents think that Chinese people have the characteristics of "industriousness", "confidence", and "honesty", while Chinese respondents think that Russians have the characteristics of "healthy", "heroic", and "creative". .

  The results of the survey show that the foundation of social public opinion for the continued high-level development of China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation in the new era is still solid, and the people of the two countries have expressed a clear support for the current status and future development of Sino-Russian relations. Respondents from both countries agreed that high-level exchanges, political mutual trust, pragmatic cooperation, mutual understanding among the people, and support for each other's major initiatives are factors that affect the future development of bilateral relations.

  In the survey, most of the interviewees showed a positive agreement with China and Russia's position and role in international multilateral anti-epidemic cooperation. Regarding the evaluation of "labeling" and "stigmatization" of China's anti-epidemic actions by some Western countries led by the United States, more than 90% of Chinese respondents and more than two-thirds of Russian respondents expressed Supportive attitude towards China.

  The survey results show that the impact of the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic on Sino-Russian relations is very limited. The people of the two sides have shown positive optimism about the future direction of bilateral relations.   The 2020 China-Russia Social Polls is a large-scale two-way poll conducted after the China-Russia Relations Polls in 2018. It was conducted in Beijing, Guangzhou, Harbin, China, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Vladivostok in the middle and late May 2020.
