The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Chairman of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, Dr. Mohammed Salim Al-Ulama, confirmed that the country's health system has proven its efficiency and its ability to devise preventive, curative and effective response solutions, based on reports and certificates from the World Health Organization to confront the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) .
This came during a field visit by the scientists to Dibba Al-Fujairah Hospital and the Dibba Al-Hisn Health Center, to see the level of operational readiness and the availability of medical equipment and supplies and adequate drug stock, and the efficiency of the efforts of medical personnel in providing the necessary medical care to patients.
The scientists who accompanied him on his visit, Director General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, Dr. Youssef Mohamed Al-Sarkal, and the Director of Fujairah Medical District, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Saeed, examined the procedures for registering patients, the method of caring for them, sorting cases and contacts, inspecting the isolation rooms in the emergency departments and the rapid inspection work mechanism, and visited the intensive care department To check on patients and available equipment.
He thanked and appreciated all the administrative and medical cadres in the first line of defense, including doctors, nursing, paramedics, paramedics, administrators, and field work crews in the first classes, praising their exceptional efforts and dedication to providing health care and preserving the health and safety of community members.
He stressed the importance of conducting the necessary checks periodically for the medical staff, pointing to their prominent and influential role in overcoming the Corona crisis.
