In large parts of the counties it is very dry in forest and land and the risk of ignition is high. At present, no fire ban has been issued, but rescue services urge the public to avoid all fire in forest and land.
The rain showers that have come, in addition to some local deviations, have not been of the extent needed for the soil to become sufficiently humid.
The call comes from the rescue services in Norr- and Västerbotten and applies over the midsummer weekend and the start of next week.
