Napoli club president Aurelio de Laurentiis has criticized former coach Mauricio Sari, who currently leads Juventus, before the expected confrontation between the two clubs in the Italian Cup final tomorrow, Wednesday.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper "Corriere dello Sport", de Laurentiis returned to Sarri's departure from Naples two years ago in order to take over as Chelsea coach.

"He angered me and justified his departure with money ... He forced me to change in technical management, even though he still had a two-year contract," the Naples president said.

"He hosted me for lunch in February and did not talk about anything related to his future, and I was surprised by him before the last game in that season, he told me about his desire to secede ... It created a state of turmoil within the team."

The meeting between the two parties will be renewed tomorrow night in the Cup final, as Napoli qualified for this role after defeating Inter Milan, while Juventus booked its seat in the final after qualifying at the expense of Milan.

Sari led Napoli between 2015 and 2018, and his most prominent achievement was to achieve second place in the league during 2016 and 2018, then he left the team towards Chelsea, before taking over Juventus starting from the summer of last year.
