The Russian Defense Ministry’s newspaper “Red Star” quoted Sukhoi’s 2019 annual report on the 17th, saying that Sukhoi is planning to start the mass production process for the export version of the Su-57 fighter jet, and will be abroad for a long period of time. Supply this model on a large scale. At present, many countries in Asia-Pacific, Southeast Asia and North Africa are very interested in purchasing Su-57 fighter jets. The company will also focus on the development of military aerospace technology.
The Su-57 fighter was called the T-50 fighter in the experimental stage. It was developed by Sukhoi, a subsidiary of the Russian United Aircraft Manufacturing Company, in the 1990s. It has the characteristics of supersonic cruise, high stealth, and super mobility. Used to replace Su-27 and MiG-29.
The Su-57 fighter was first tested in January 2010. According to the plan announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian army will purchase 76 Su-57 fighters equipped with three air regiments of the Air and Space Army by 2028.
